Sex robots will never be a thing.

The day a robot becomes sufficently intelligent to be engaging during sex it will shortly be superseded by a superhumanly intelligent second version, and why on earth would a superintelligent robot want to have sex with a human?

Why would you construct an AI with the ability to learn outside its means? I mean, even Halo had the two classes - 'dumb' AI that were good at a specific task but couldn't really 'learn', and 'smart' AI like Cortana that learned exponentially until they thought themselves to rampancy.
