I've never understood the whole bullshit about 'business class' products needing to be tough and over engineered. They are just used like any other laptop i.e. in offices to do work and carried around in brief cases. They don't need to be tougher than any other laptop. And businesses replace their shit every year anyway. It's just a con.

The "being tough" meme is for in case your laptop falls off your desk and it breaks and causes you to lose all your valuable business intel.
Thinkpad will just survive, and even if it breaks, it stops the HDD from reading so the HDD won't break in the fall and the data survives.
