>>51046934You underestimate normies. Normies consider technology a necessary burden. After visiting many college apartments and shared houses on campus, and working in a school district's IT department, you will see this shit all the time. Normies will flood their desktop with icons and files because they are too lazy to save it anywhere else. They will put things in obviously uncomfortable places such as the OP image just because they only use it because they are too lazy to manually write things. They hate computers but know that they need them in order to do real work, so organization is an afterthought to them and they literally just throw things in a manner that keeps all signs of the computer as out of view as possible but still able to be used.
Teachers are the worst at this, they will bitch and moan about how they can teach just fine without a computer, and would rather use pen and paper but use the computer for all their work anyways, and then they get assblasted to hell when it stops working because they've shoved it under a pile of junk and it overheated. They will do all sorts of fuckery to hide every piece of the computer in all the wrong ways.
College students like technology but only when it's in the form of an Apple product. They hate desktops (even ITX boxes) with a passion and will bitch about muh ancient technology, they hate any laptop that isn't a Macbook Air, and don't take care of any non-Apple item they have, and will just shove it under a pile of papers and books to hide it, and only use it when it is absolutely necessary, complaining the entire time about all the viruses it has that they got while searching and clicking everything in desperation to find a video of lesbians to beat off to.
Normies. Not even once.
