i had this shit running for a year or so, then during one of my gaming activities i got suspicious about my low framerates and turned it off - it turned out to be such a massive resource hog, even though it doesnt look like that, it actually is. Fuck it.

theres nothing wrong with f.lux at all. The only thing ive ever noticed was frame rate drops in games for maybe 5 seconds in the evening when the color drop is initiated. Big fucking deal get over it. It is actually great and does wonders for your eyes.

Your perceptiveness to it will depend on what you intend to get out of it.

I reinstalled it a few weeks ago when Uni started again since I decided to pick early morning classes. It helps immensely with my sleep schedule. I'm able to wake up much earlier thanks to it even if I happened to stay up late the night before.

The usefulness of my alarm clock is disappearing quickly.
