Hi, /gee/
I got a problem with my internet, and not a dozen of phone calls and two different technicians were able to solve it.
Long story short, the bearing signal that reaches my router blinks, when it doesn't drop awhole.
As you can understand that is kind of a problem with TCP based connections, which is uhh most of what one normal person uses.
I ragecalled my ISP many many times (when I had the line back up and stable enough).
The first technician said my copper cable isn't worth holding a 60 Mb fiber DSL.
The second technicain did some mumbojumbo wizardry and say he couldn't detect any problem (line happened to work fine while he was testing)

The modem/router is the one my ISP provides, an Alcatel TG788VN
