What do fellow anons think about the systemd suite of init programs that are taking over many distros?

Just recently upgraded to Debian Jessie. was like.. wtf?

systemd shouldn't exist. Distributions for no good reasons start using it.
It's like C++ and Java. When those two languages were invented, people thought it was a joke and didn't take them seriously. Systemd is the java of linux. Everyone will use it without knowing why and we will have insecure and bloat shit everywhere.
