Samsung are apparently working hard to "stabilise" 820 SOC for the new Galaxy S7.
Sound familiar?
Apparently Samsung are manufacturing the chip to Qualcomm specifications.
If the can't modify the firmware to control the overheating then they're going to include a radiating pipe to dissipate the heat.
The SOC will be used "at all costs" for the GS7 by Samsung because they're manufacturing it.
So, must have piece of kit or House Fire mk 2?
So Samsung are going all out to make it work and use the chip for US and Chinese version of the GS7 but the cynic in me thinks this is another push to use their own Exynos chip in other territory phones.
