Is it better to leave my PC case open or closed?
i think open since stays more cold but then collects dust. Any Advice?

I know with my case the temps are nearly the same open or closed, with closed being cooler if anything. Plus it keeps dust and shit out.

It collects less dust open. Even if your intakes are filtered you're likely to get more dust through than would naturally enter from the side.
Cases are dust traps when closed.
