So I've been trying to learn Python for a few days by watching youtube tutorials. They all suck and either move way too slow, dedicating twenty minutes explaining the basics of if statements, or lack clarity. I've looked at LPTHW and some other books but they don't seem to move at a pace that suits me. I don't want to dedicate four hours a day learning something that could be explained far more efficiently In a five minute video, or a one or two pages. How did /g/ learn Python ( I'm a beginner btw), and what resources would you suggest for someone interested In building programs as soon as possible without having to learn comp sci that I won't be applying, or don't need to know immediately?
