Firefox.
Because it sucks least and using it now is fucking important if you don't want it, and everything else to suck FAR worse. Firefox is still the only major browser that is Free software/open source and designed exclusively for the user. You can customize, extend etc... as you like. No, even Chromium is more limited and it has been castrated quite a few times because Google wants to make the best advertising platform for their wallets.
I don't agree with everything Firefox has done recently (for instance, Pocket - its a proprietary service. However, I know they are going to eventually move it to an extension and add Pocket-like functionality to Sync as well etc) , but by giving up and moving to Chrome or any other major browser, you're cutting your own throat as Firefox and Mozilla are pretty much the only ones fighting for standards compliant, internet freedom, and privacy.
Mozilla is fighting an uphill battle. Its better paying to do privacy invading shit like Google, sadly, so Mozilla has to find way to compete. If you kids swap over for whatever ooohh shiny feature Chrome/ium dangles this week, damn your privacy/ethics, then no wonder things are shittier at Mozilla. Hell, the entire new Firefox GUI is because they figured "Users want the look of Chrome, so we'll give it to them!" That's no reason to give up on Firefox. You can easily use addons for a classic UI if you want, or their Developer Edition which is classic UI plus a lot of other useful stuff.
Firefox is the worthwhile browser, if you give a shit about ethics and features.
