Ubuntu. Everything other than Ubuntu, Fedora and maybe Debian are meme distros for literal autists. They just werk out of the box and thanks to the GPL you have just as much freedom to modify your OS as you would with any other distro

I really love Slack, but the initial install and post cpnfig can be tedious. Aslo, compile times for large software like icecat, libreoffice, texlive etc. take awhile.

But after you get it set up it's great.

Fedora is bloated
Opensuse is even more bloated
