>>51057334>Nothing will happen. If the tire failure is determined to be from a defect then the tire manufacturer will be sued,Oh for fuck sake, CHILD.
Do you really not see that none of that matters?
Here kid, let me tell you how to world works:
Somebody sets up a self driving car to fail. Doesn't matter how, or who did it, it happens.
This car then hits a school bus and kills, say, 3 children.
The media go 'SELF DRIVING CARS KILL CHILDREN', this goes on for a couple days while 100 'investigations' are started
Meanwhile, politicians see all this media and go 'HOW HORRIBLE! SAVE THE CHILDREN!'
They then rush-pass a bill that bans self-driving cars. Because of the media, this bill has a 99% approval and the politicians pat themselves on the back.
Now it DOES NOT MATTER what caused the fucking fail, automated cars are still banned.
Google will whine, and complain, and sue, and you know what?
It won't matter. Because public perception will be
>Self-driving cars? Oh, you mean those horrible illegal things that kill children? And that's the fucking end of it.
Oh, google might succeed in another 20 years of getting the ban removed, but by then the idea of personal transportation will be well on the way of dying and people will have gotten used to manual driving with computer assists.
