Making music with EEG headset

Hi guys,
I'm working on a project to make music with an EEG headset.
first: I need to choose between the Neurosky and the EPOC. Any thoughts on that?

2nd question: Do any of you guys how you hook up the EEG headset with the DAW on my mac?

It would take a decade to calibrate it to one person with any sort of accuracy

The issue is, when we have a thought, our brain has many ways of forming the same thought, so the "think up" sort of calibration is VERY finicky and won't last

you know damn well i cant, & you also know thats not the point

while it may not be viable now, almost all fledgling technology reaches a plateau of uselessness immediately after its birth. then, after a while somebody comes along & makes a breakthrough that both makes them incredibly rich & drastically improves the application of the technology.

its not particularly useful now, but thats no reason to say it never will be

Other than for the novelty of making music from brainwaves, I cant see why you cant just use a scrambler or some random signal source and mix from that.
