>>51057211From what I've been able to gather kubuntu's founder jonathon riddell doesn't agree with canonical's license and use of non-free software and so canonical wont acknowledge him as the leader of the project and they've been demanding that he step down. He actually changed kubuntu's license a few weeks ago so that it required everyone who used kubuntu give him a hug.
