A few months ago I fell for the good old "good for gaming, good for music" mem from tek syndicate.
I cant return it so I might just make the best out of it.
I get headaches from wearing it because of the pressure of the headband. I also tried to stretch it, not successful.
What else could I do to fix it?

You get used to it, you gotta wait for the leather to break in.

You got a good headphone brah, it's no meem to get good headsets. Just don't go full audiophile.

Now get a good microphone and you can talk like a normal person online.

They sound alright for the money but they're stupidly uncomfortable, I wish people would mention that when recommending them (and if comfort is a concern, which it should be, then something like the HD-330/660 should be recommended instead).

As for fixing the shitty headphones after you've already bought them, the best you can do is some velour pads and stretching the band (it will stretch, but you'll need to bend those fuckers at least to flat and will probably crack the plastic coating on the band).

Thanks for the advice, gonna try to stretch them more over night. The pads are actually ok imo, I think I'll buy new ones in a few months.

No he didn't. The clamp and build quality destroys that trashy uncomfortable headphone. Buy a takstar 2050 for around the same price if not cheaper. Congratulations, you got a better headphone that not only sounds better but that is actually wearable.

681 evo is also considered to be more comfortable than the 668b, If that's truly the case, I feel sorry for your skull.

It doesn't matter how long you stretch them for, what matters is how much you stretch them by. I had mine sitting stretched over a box overnight and it made fuck all difference, yet when I bent them all the way flat they clamping pressure was reduced instantly.

As for the pads, you probably think they're okay because you can't wear them for very long due to the pressure. Once that's sorted you'll probably find the pads to be crap after wearing them for extended periods.

Yeah you can go pretty far before you even come close to breaking them. The best technique is to hold them by the plastic parts that the pads on the headband slide into, if you hold them by the cups you might break some of the plastic somewhere.
