soup /g/?

I upgraded to a LG G4 and lowered the DPI from 640 to 534. It works in every app except Yik Yak.

Pic related, left is G4, right is G3. As you can see, the system UI reflects the DPI. I changed the DPI in texdroider on both. Tried using App Settings in Xposed but it had no effect. Tried clearing data and uninstalling/reinstalling.

Density is reported as the same for both phones:
