GeForce 650ti boost is getting a little long in the tooth. lots of new games coming, starting with fallout 4. any thoughts on a card around $200usd that would be a significant performance boost?

prefer to stick w/ Nvidia, but their farking product names and variations make finding upgrade path a nightmare.

960 is like 160 us on newegg and it isn't the zotac model.

R9 280x, 380, or 290, depending sells.
Only Nvidia card worth buying under the $300 mark is a b-stock 970, or a 780ti from Evga, any other nvidia choice in your price range is a pure, dead brain retarded choice.

For $200 get a 960 or a 380. Both will last you a long time if you've made it this long on a 650ti

That's generally true, but both the 380 and 390 end up being more expensive on the long run if you run multi monitors and live in a place with retarded energy prices. The meme card is also falling in price to a comfortable $280 give or take, so the 390 needs to adjust to at most $300. Regarding the medium high end, the 980 is also dropping in price and the bundled games bring its price down even lower, hindering the vanilla Fury's existence.
