Sadly the microphone and ethernet stuff did not work.
So, time to go on to the next experiment.
I have about 500+ VHS tapes, 3 VHS players/recorders, 500+ DVDs, 2 DVD players, a scart muxer, a DSLR, and a bunch of monitors.

So far I actually I have no real idea what to do with it. So far I only played 3 tapes at once and muxed them to create some glitch art.

Any ideas what I can do? I dont mind fucking up tapes or recording over them. So far I already broke 2 tapes when the tape got loose and broke.

If you have any requests for old VHS movie rips (70s-90s), then leave a request and I see what I can do.
NOTE: I dont actually know if VHS ripping is illigal in 2015. If it is illigal then ignore the ripping and dont ban me plox ;^)
I WONT do any DVD rips tough.

Anyone know how I could directly record the output of a VHS to my PC? It would safe a lot of extra steps. I saw a SCART>Video>USB converter on the interwebs, but I am not sure if they are still sold. Will check next week.
Also somebody knows how to do the reverse? Record modern video to a VHS and then back again? This would give me more authenthic VHS style then doing it with software like Adobe Premiere/After Effects. It also gives more control over glitch art.

If any of ya fellows did some cool stuff with the Audacity and data listening; I am interested to hear it.
