I want an "open" smartphone where I can upgrade my bootloader and OS myself.
I looked at Aliexpress and found some companies which offer OEM smartphones (custom brand and open bootloader).
The problem is that all the CPUs are from Mediatek which are closed-source and so I can't create my own ROMs for it.
