Recently, the Swiss government has passed the BÜPF, which expands their power to spy on people without warrants. While passed, it still has a little time before its enforced.

This law allows the government to obtain more information from companies without a warrant, force services to store accessible metadata for up to 12 months, and even implement trojan horses into services.
