Is anybody actually excited about this shit? I don't enjoy driving, but it beats the hell out of trusting my life to a piece of software written for 10¢ an hour by someone who doesn't own a toilet and watching helplessly as it crashes, and then I do. Or getting killed because it was me or that group of pedestrians. Or being late for work because some Chinese kid hacked my car and sent me on a one-way trip to Alaska. Or not being able to get where I need to go because the car's maps are out of date. Or having my morning commute replaced by sitting in a cramped plastic box while I wait to arrive at work, which is sadly the best case scenario here. I'm sure that there are lots of good reasons for governemts and activists and other people who can't maintain an erection unless they're sucking the freedom out of someone's life to support SDCs, but I can't imagine why a normal human being would want one.
