My aunt bought an iPad Mini off craigslist... bad move. The fucking thing is iCloud locked. I've told her she's fucked unless she can contact the guy and get the password. She's asking me to help her contact him since she's clueless with this shit.

I contact him and explain the situation. He gives me a password that doesn't work... I text him and tell him no bueno, then he tells me he needs the serial number off the back of the iPad and once he gets that he will proceed to help me unlock it.

Is he fucking with me? What good is the serial number going to do? Are there other methods to removed iCloud lock he's trying?
