Good evening /g/ents, I'm currently a CS student at a solid rigorous University with good career prospects (99% placement rate prior to graduation, just under $70k average starting). I hear all kinds of examples of shitty placements after graduation that pay pretty well, but are mind-numbingly boring. Are there any decent jobs in the field that allow for creativity and actually fun projects, or am I destined to spend five years doing routine bullshit before I can become a senior developer unless I want to be a boring webdev/code monkey?
