I mean, the perfect example was the Fury X.
Announced as an 'overclockers dream'.
I really was hype to overclock my Fury X and when it came to it... the overclocking capability was zero and I was like... well fuck.
All that just for nothing.
I don't know if Lisa Su KNEW it couldn't go any higher or was just told 'it should be good' and looked at the cooling on it and thought 'we'll hold this as a great overclocker to win some market back' without realising, but either way, you're right.
AMD aren't clean, but at least they aren't intentionally swimming in the dirt just to grab as much money as they possibly can.
