Last time I installed Ubuntu was in 2006 when I installed Dapper Drake. I ended up uninstalling it after a few months because it was slow and buggy. Recently, I needed to install Linux because I needed to run a program that wouldn't run on Cygwin. I decided to give Ubuntu another try - I thought Ubuntu has probably fixed its bugs by now, and has probably improved a lot as an operating system.

First thing that happened to me was Ubuntu software center crashed on the first thing I tried to install, and I couldn't install anything, not even with apt-get, until I looked up a "hack" online to fix this.

The next thing I noticed, and this is what infuriated me, is that the operating system is riddled with Adware. The Ubuntu software center looks almost exactly like the Apple store, and it keeps trying to push paid apps on you, and it has a section for paid apps, but it doesn't have an option for viewing only free software. Why the fuck would someone only want to look at only paid software?

And it's not just the software center. Ubuntu comes preinstalled with Amazon bloatware, which keeps reinstalling itself. And when I search for files in the start menu I get ads to buy shoes and shit - even Windows doesn't do that. Holy shit Ubuntu got Jew'd. This whole operating system is one big ad. Just lol if you use Ubuntu.
