no. if you have a brain you can simply not install those updates on 7 and 8.
on windows 10 you don't have a choice.
everything (including drivers that fuck up) gets installed automatically.

When I use Edge web browser it crashes and takes the start menu along with it. Thank god I can just right click on the menu and walk around the issue. So far I don't like any of the metro UI apps more than the ones that were there to begin with.

And it was looking so good too. Best out of the box install with minimal headache in years fam. So I'm back to 8.1 until they get their shit straight.

Why do you care about what people in this board think?

In any case there is indeed a concern for privacy with Windows 10 so really keep that in mind. It's not a bad OS. Hell I wish I could do the tiling thing on Windows 8.1 the same. I hate that I have two monitors and I can't really do that shit just fine. I don't know of any proper software for that.

What kills me most is the fucking font rendering, I wish for something better.
