A "few?" Have you checked out the calculators? The best GPUs for mining can barely push out 1MH/s, which will get you... about 0.3 LTC in a month. While costing $15-25 in electricity. 1 LTC is currently worth about $3... so for $20, you can make a dollar. Does that sound worthwhile?

If you want litecoins (or bitcoins) for some reason, you're far better off just buying them. Actual mining is utterly pointless for average people, and has been for literally years.
