Can we have a speaker general?
I am on the lookout for my first proper set, been using headphones until now. I have little experience, except listening to some high end systems at friends' places.
Next Sunday I'm visiting a local hifi shop and check out a few models, together with my best friend who has a bit of experience with audio gear. I liked the bookshelf Dynaudio DM 2/6 a lot.
Then my colleague told me to check out another local store that restores & sells used gear, and for the same price I could get a set of Cambridge Audio R50; or if I go cheaper I could have Wharfedale 512.2 or DCM TimeFrame TFv6.0.
I'm just not sure I have the space for large speakers like that, but fuck me they look sexy. I'll be checking these and others out next week Monday or Tuesday probably.
