I've got a ~15 character "base" password that I use, but I usually append the website's name to the end of each.
Could someone discover the pattern and take advantage of it? sure. But in the meantime I've got 20 character passwords that are unique to each site.

Mine's pretty secure. Although I use a 'base' password for sites which I don't deem to be a security risk, I do have unique password for anything financial or security minded (like my email).
Even then, the base password has four variations active right this second.

No one has ever been able to guess it.

My IP is 67.194.21.71 and I run like 7 proxies with 7 firewalls each with 7 proxies, etc. It's basically turtles all the way down.
