Hardware Limitations or conflictions?

My current set up is:

Motherboard: ASUS PZ67-V Pro
RAM: 8gig (x4 2gig crucial sticks. I think 1600mhz?)
Graphics Card: ASUS GTX 680 (GTX680-DC2T-2GD5)
Processor (CPU): Intel-i7 2600
PSU: 600watt (I think? I'm at work)
Operating System: Windows 8.1 x64
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 254gig
Hard drive: Assorted WD 1tbs

I'm looking to upgrade my GPU to the ASUS GTX 980TI (STRIX-GTX980TI-DC3-6GD5-GAMING).
I was also looking into getting a 2k screen, 144hz, IPS, and 1 to 4ms response. Also preferably G-Sync. I have a few monitors in mind and can post links if anyone is curious as to which ones I'm thinking of.

My question is, with my current setup would I be able to do 2K gaming with my GTX 980TI without being bottlenecked by the rest of my hardware?

I know that my i7 2600 still holds up fairly well in this day in age but I feel like my motherboard might be lacking? If it comes to the point where I have to replace my motherboard, I'd also have to replace the CPU as well considering a newer board wouldn't support the socket.

What's the word /g/ents?

TL;DR - Look at my specs. Can I do 2K gaming with my setup if I change my GTX 680 to a GTX 980TI?
