The New York Times ran a PR "article" praising Airbnb, and it turns out the author was none other than the wife of Marc Anderseen, a major tech investor and shareholder of Airbnb.
It also praised another tech startup these billionaires have invested in, Theranos. A few days later Theranos was revealed to be a complete fraud.
Of course the editor disagrees that the wife of a major shareholder should not be writing articles (without disclosure) on the NYT about them, because of feminism
>I disagree that we shouldn’t have let Laura write, as she is a separate person from her husband with her own career and credentials

Absolutely disgusting. Tech reporters have become worse than gaming "journalists".
