The main deficiency is that none of the Vim keybinds would function on an internal page like the Preference pane, or even a New Tab page.
And your keybinds also cease to work when the current tab is loading. So if you opening a link or a URL in a new tab, you're stuck with a few seconds not able to do anything as the DNS resolves.
