>>51091876Yeah, it's significant. I have my router located in the worst possible place in my house (downstairs, in the corner of a house, inside the TV stand). I live in a 2 storey house and previously In the other worst spot of my house (upstairs and at the completely other end of a house) I was getting around -98dBm the end of my house with constant disconnects and link speed too low to use the network for anything. With new settings, in that exact same spot I'm getting -68dBm and 150-200Mbps link speed. It also goes incredibly far outside the house. I was able to maintain a usable connection while being BEHIND another house while mine was not even in LOS.
Pic related. My settings, I spent almost 2 months benchmarking and testing various combinations for at least 4 days each and these are the best/most reliable ones according to my research. Shit was defiantly worth it.
None of my client devices work in 2.4Ghz/40Mhz so I didn't bother polluting that spectrum any more than I already did.
