Actually it's mostly a job OS. It gets shit done and that's why it's used by professionals in a lot of fields.

Windows, on the other hand, it's basically an overpowered console OS.
It can't do anything better than other systems except playing games. So yeah, hobby os basically

if nothing happens after a few seconds, try it again

if it doesn't work after 3-4 tries make sure everything is plugged in properly

try switching the dvi/hdmi cords so that the now secondary monitor can be the primary just so you can rule out that it's not the fault of the monitor
