- Try to block the spying on your perimeter router
- Run it in a VM with no internet access. Install updates by hand. Whatch the lonely little shit try to call home all day long, trying to report on what you're doing.

Run it in a VM and you get 95% of the bare metal performance. You'll be able to run games just fine. Linux host for free software, privacy, security and total control. Windows guest for games, or things that have no replacement yet in Linux.

Basically, think of Windows as like a bloated Java runtime environment...except instead of just installing the Ask.com toolbar, it wants to record everything you do and sell all of your private information to the highest bidder.
