Well if you're looking at flagships, I just got a Sony Z5 and it's a wonderful slab of phone. Props to them for making a slightly smaller alternate model, too. Not everybody wants something that's borderline phablet.

That phone is a work of art. I have the Z3 so I'm good for another 2 years but the Z5 would be my first choice if I needed one now. I hope Marshmallow comes out like their Marshmallow concept.

It gets warm but that's the worst I've had or heard about. Apparently the Z3+ had some serious issues with that, force closes for heat management and the like.
