My phone is an LG Tribute 2. My carrier is Boost Mobile. My plan is the $55.00 USD Unlimited Talk/Text/Data with a 10GB throttle. I have purchased WIFI hotspot 2GB in the Boost store. My phone is totally updated lolipoop.
My OS is Arch Linux. I have installed libmtp/android-tools/Android-udev. I don't have any internet access on the computer but I do on the phone so I can transfer files via microsd from phone to the adapter connected to my computer. When I run lsusb it appears my phone is recognized and in MTP mode.
How may I use my WIFI hotspot via USB tethering or any way really to use the internet on my computer? Thanks.
