I've had this problem with my trackpad that has plagued me for months and no amount of googling has helped me figuring out the cause of it.

Basically it works normally most of the time but sometimes when I open the laptop lid one of two thing might happen:
1. the scrolling direction will be inverted for some reason. if I go to the settings to change it "natural scrolling" will suddenly mean the opposite of what it usually means. the only way to fix it is to log out and log in again.
2. the trackpad will simply stop working as if it's been disabled. if I navigate to the settings with the keyboard it tells me that there's a problem with connecting to the trackpad or something. this can only be solved by rebooting the computer.

I have an early 2015 13" MacBook Pro (comes with a force touch trackpad) .

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be? I think I might have to reinstall the OS to fix this shit.
