i'm setting up the DB for phase2 aka user accounts, and im not sure how to store contact information. (email still planned on being optional)
all private keys are stored encrypted, you have a pass to log you in, and a phrase for your encryption.
As you can see, obviously as much data will be encrypted as possible (using your pass not a server key), except the to and from in a message, and userIDs for who is in your contact list
Would people be okay with that info being "leakable", or could someone help me with a theory to keep that encrypted as well, but not fuck up the server trying to deliver messages. (remember the server cannot read encrypted messages)
I'd prefer to keep data encrypted in the DB, so that contact look up is eaiser so you just decrypt those keys locally, rather than storing some massive encrypted blob that cant be indexed/searched.
