.xinitrc is a file in your home directory. Open it up in a text editor.

If there's is no file named .xinitrc in your home directory you create it.
And then copy paste whatever you need in it

Don't use bspwm if you're hew to linux, use i3 or openbox.

vi ~/.xinitrc
chmod +x ~/.xinitrc

Are you a new Linux user? bspwm might be a bit of a challenge if you are, but it's definitely worth it in the long run.

I'm just joking you tbh fam. But seriously if its not in your home directory or etc (make sure you type "ls -la") then just make one yourself. So if you use emacs then type "emacs .xinitric" and add it in manually
