F-91w is so tiny and the strap is so thin that I can't quite recommend it when a decent casio is only $5 more.
And if you add $20 more, you get a nice g-shock, the only good g-shock that casio makes.
And this watch has some actual cred behind it because it's the de facto standard issue military watch.

I've never been issued a watch. The closest thing to being issued a watch though is (for Marines) in bootcamp after the crucible when you get to explore the base during libo sunday for a few hours. The one thing they require you to do is purchase a watch at the PX. Although most of the stock IS g-shovk, there are some other brands. Right now I'm using a Suunto that I've had since before bootcamp.

My only complaint is that the resin band is shit, but you can get a nato strap from chinks on ebay for a buck so is not a big deal.

Had a few Casio's in my day and i just love those watches. For me it was the start of digital watch revolution. I remember sitting on the schoolbus in 1979 tinkering with the Casio :D.
