Is the G4 still a good buy at ~$400?

The budget phones (OnePlus X, Nexus 5X) and new flagships (Nexus 6P, Xperia Z5 Premium) seem interesting but I just want value for money whilst having flagship specs.

I just got a Z3 compact secondhand yesterday. It was only used 3 weeks, and I paid 250 euros for it. It has the same specs as the regular Z3, but a smaller screen which I like. It also has a very long battery life, so overall I thinks it's definitely worth considering.
