So is there any logical reason to spend more than $300 on a monitor if you're not gaming or doing some 3D rendering or whatever?

Bought an old monitor for 5 bucks at a second-hand store today.
A crappy Samsung 151S from 2001 or something, it has a nice stand that can flip it every direction and the screen itself is decent too.

A bit low resolution for today's standard but it gets the job done, I only shitpost on 4chan anyway.
