So my sister was drawing on her laptop with painttoolSAI and then her GPU crashed.
The file that she was drawing simply wanished from her hard drive. I can't even find the saves that she had done before she opened that file this time.

Does any of you know how could I recover this file?

If "then her GPU crashed" means you powered down the device abnormally, the files might not yet been synced to the disk. In that case, power loss will cause data loss.

You might be able to recover how the folder it was originally saved in from an earlier date. I forgot the specifics, but you can find it if you go to folder properties I think.
