What drawing tablet do you recommend? Preferably not too crazy expensive. I've never owned one and am looking at buying the Huion 610 Pro.

>>239507 A good drawing tablet? Sell your normal tablet, get a wacom and a cup of coffee, applefag.
If you want your tablet to be crap, get something like ArtRage and go to town, but you won't have pressure sensitivity and you might have ads, and you might have to save drawings as .jpg.
Just buy a real tablet.

I'm in the market for one as well, I'm honestly not a great artist haven't drawn in years but am wanting one just to dick around on. I really just want the best cheap tablet, pressure sensitive sounds good (because why not). Is Wacom pretty much the go to?

My boss just sent me this logo and told me to improve it. I think I'm fucked, (I'm not even a designer, I'm just the IT guy.) The logo is supposed to be represent a hourglass, the letter S (startup name is infinitys) and infinity. What the hell. Do you guys think its possible to improve this? Or should I start from scratch? Apparently my boss comissioned a team of artists to create this.

>>236019 >>235749 That's actually good. You WANT your logo to look like a good app / program icon so that when your company has an app/program its icon stands out and ties directly into your branding.
Also your favicon can be your logo.

>>239540 No, but think about it this way.
User searches app store for your app, sees app-only logo whose only tie-in to your brand is the name and color scheme ex "<company> <app name>" or user sees an app called "<company>" and an icon-framed version of your logo.

My artist did both designs of my sleeves for free when I gave him ideas and sample photos I drew up. Your artist will probably do the same for free.

Those swoopy shapes make no sense they don't seem to form some sort of cohesive whole they don't form any kind of recognizable shape they just become infinitely thin towards the end (which is unattractive IMO) The point they all converge towards does not coincide with the top left corner of the R, so it gives the impression that they were aiming for that top left corner but are missing (or that the designer was too lazy to line it up properly) each of them just looks like a re-scaled/stretched/shared versions of the others, which is not exactly pretty For the rest of the logo... well, the font is shit IMO.

The true test is just Photoshopping a fake one that looks real enough to pass as an actual one.
