Hi i need a name for my portfolio site, i really have no fantasy with names, can someone help me with it?

I am currently going to a local technical college for graphic design and I am currently taking a typography class. I would rather stick my dick into satan's firey asshole than deal with fonts on this level for the rest of my life. Will I have to design fonts regularly in my future or should this be a dealbreaker and find another degree? Speaking of which, what degrees and careers are there that line up with graphic design and are easy to get in to?

A metallurgical company wanted me to redisign it's logo, and I don't know too much about it. This is the one I made, the name of the company is "Maier". So:
What corrections or improvements can I do to make it look better? any kind of help is welcomed.
It's not a very big company, so it doesn't have to be 100% original, I guess. And add the fact that in my country copyright laws aren't very strict.
