I'm assuming they sent clones back to the Taimanin Organisation and kept the real Asagi and Sakura, but without subs I can't be sure.
If that's not the case, it seems Asagi even broke free from the mindbreak and was now in control of her inner demon (red eyes).
At any rate, if the Horse Demon was supposed to have any significance: It didn't.
And to add insult to injury, it's scene was fucking poor.
