What do you guys do when you're finished with your practice for the day and want to do some recreational drawing, but can't think of anything to portray? Are there any ways to un-stick that mental blockage? I always have issues when it comes to thinking of subject matter.

You can make some money drawing whimsical shit for people, drawing for a children's book, being some kind of freelancer or something.

There's no deep or hidden meaning of any sort, and I guess some people prefer that over "2deep4u" shit.
However, it's not memorable either.
And there isn't much emotion other than "huh, that's kinda cute."

The traffic cone is my favorite.

I tag my work with gibberish and I still get followers and views regardless of being ironic and not wanting people to follow me or get views. If you need to make more than one account that houses your work maybe your work is not speaking for itself where it should.

As I have said before your work needs to speak for itself no amount of tags will save you from poor quality; and that is not to say that if you have a large quantity of followers that doesn't mean your work is decent I am a firm believer that I would rather have one paying follower than a thousand randomers who do not patronize.

"Good work will become popular." does not follow from "Bad work will not become popular." (which is also a false statement because artists who produce poor quality work frequently do become popular if they cater to fanbases/fetishes/senses of humor).

My argument is that people who say "popularity will come with ability" are fucking wrong. You need to actively promote yourself. This will bring you followers. If even 1% of your followers will pay you, that's still more clients with 10,000 followers than 100.

Uh, work like this needs to be super clean to be effective, and all of this is sloppy, I would work a lot on your inking techniques and developing a surgen's hand. Also I would recommend putting more thought into gesture and composition. Try and capture some emotion and movement. Cause I can't read either in anything you posted. I Recommend finding life that fits what you are going for, like maybe jellyfish, spend tons of time drawing them. Then use that information to better imply movement in your shapes.

For me, I hate seeing the generic anime style everywhere. Also in tumblr, EVERYONE draws Disney style.

All this made me value a lot more unique styles, even simple stuff like Paul Robertson's sprites or even Brian O'Malley's work.

The pumpkin people, who worship the God of Shit, do not accept black people into their tribe. This piece captures the wrath of God who wants everyone to get along, fighting with the God of Shit, throwing thunder lances at him, while the God of Shit, throws just shit.
Capturing the heat of the battle, we can see the damage that's being caused: some shit has hit God.
In this fiercely intense moment, the black man is shown walking away, portraying the lack of determination and intelligence of its species, in realistic fashion.
Contrasting this, is the white tribe, portrayed in an abstract "what the fuck are we even doing standing here?" fashion.
Everything comes together with a wonderful palette of brown and dark greys.
