>>2253123God, me too. Classic science fiction is a genre that catches me on every level, and his seamless melding of robotics and the commonplace as a wonderfully painted whole is delightful. But not just that, I feel as if I'm looking at scenes that are actually real and believable, despite some of the crazy futuristic elements. And the thought behind some of these. I can't stop reading Asmiov for example, and just seeing paintings like his kid about to step on the smiling snowman outside a robotics institute makes me very happy.
(That's fantastic you live so closeby, since sometimes the areas we live in affect our art in small ways- it would be interesting to look around.)
