Testing the jitter during diagonal lines using the Surface Pro 4. The test was done on the demo SP4 at the Glendale MS Kiosk. PaintTool SAI v2 Beta was downloaded to the machine (no installation required) and used with no tweaks. The stabilizer is set to the default value of 3.
At the slowest speed there is noticeable jitter, however there is no drift like with other N-trig type tablets I've seen. If your general use case is at the higher speeds the drawing capabilities should be great. If you do need to draw at the lower speeds, I'd use Lazy Nezumi Pro which should fix it up pretty well. I currently use a Yiynova MVP22u V3 which has similar jitter (and drift!) but after some setting tweaks and with Lazy Nezumi Pro I can pretty much do everything I want on it.
Also, the video had to be taken vertically because I had it propped on the ledge above the tablet with a weight so I could get a stable shot.
Compare behavior to your own tablet to see how you'd like it.
